How we work.
We begin every project with a single sketch — pencil on tracing paper, no rulers. From there, the work grows slowly through model-making, site visits, and long conversations with the people who will live in or use the building.
We work on no more than four projects at a time. We do not enter competitions. We answer every email ourselves.
